# Introducing ANDRIX: Learning Visual Creation in the Age of AI

*From photography and videography to storytelling and visual effects, ANDRIX is an education platform designed to help the next generation of visual creators.*

AI is changing the way we create images, videos and visual stories.

Today, it's possible to experiment with visual ideas, develop concepts and produce content using tools that weren't available to most creators just a few years ago.

But having access to these tools doesn't automatically make someone a good visual storyteller.

You still need to understand composition, lighting, camera angles, movement, pacing and, perhaps most importantly, how to communicate an idea through visuals.

That's one of the reasons we're developing **ANDRIX**, a new education platform focused on helping students master visual creation with AI.

More Than Learning AI Tools

There are already plenty of tutorials teaching people how to generate images or videos using AI.

ANDRIX takes a broader approach.

We want students to understand the creative thinking behind the work, not simply learn which buttons to click or which prompts to type.

The platform is being developed around several key areas:

  • **Photography:** Understanding composition, lighting, framing and visual aesthetics.
  • **Videography:** Learning camera language, shot selection, movement and visual continuity.
  • **Storytelling:** Developing ideas, characters, narratives and meaningful visual sequences.
  • **AI-Assisted Visual Creation:** Using emerging AI tools to develop, produce and refine visual content.
  • **Visual Effects:** Exploring how traditional VFX knowledge and new AI workflows can work together.

The objective is to help students develop practical creative skills that remain relevant even as the tools continue to evolve.

Learning From Real Industry Experience

One of the people leading ANDRIX is **<Entity category="people" value="Andre Surya" disambig="Indonesian visual effects artist and director"/>**, an experienced visual effects artist whose career includes work in Hollywood productions and a subsequent move into directing micro dramas at ByteDance.

Andre brings a perspective shaped by years of working with visual effects, production pipelines and storytelling.

That experience is especially relevant today.

While AI can make certain parts of visual production faster and more accessible, understanding what makes a visual convincing, cinematic or emotionally engaging still matters.

The ability to direct a scene, control its visual language and make creative decisions remains important regardless of the software being used.

ANDRIX aims to bring that industry perspective into a more accessible learning environment.

Bridging Traditional Creative Skills and AI

One of the things we find interesting about AI is how it changes the technical barriers to visual creation.

Someone who previously needed a large production team to explore a visual concept may now be able to develop an early version independently.

But the fundamentals of visual communication haven't disappeared.

A strong composition is still a strong composition. Lighting still influences mood. Editing still affects pacing. And storytelling still determines whether an audience connects with what they're watching.

That's why we believe AI education should go beyond software demonstrations.

Students should learn not only how to generate a visual, but also how to evaluate it, improve it and use it as part of a larger creative process.

Building ANDRIX as a Learning Platform

Our direction for ANDRIX is to put education at the centre of the experience.

The platform is being developed to support learning opportunities for people interested in visual creation, whether they're exploring AI for the first time or looking to expand their existing creative skills.

Alongside the educational content, **ANDRIX Originals** will showcase creative projects and experiments that demonstrate how these approaches can be applied.

We believe showing the work is just as important as teaching the theory.

It's also an opportunity to explore how AI-assisted visual production can evolve alongside established creative practices.

What's Next?

ANDRIX is part of our ongoing exploration of how technology can make creative education and production more accessible.

We're particularly interested in helping students develop a combination of creative judgement, technical understanding and confidence in using new tools.

Because while the technology will continue to change, knowing how to tell a compelling visual story will remain valuable.

We'll share further updates as ANDRIX develops.
